Leadership
The WFSF Executive Board consists of eleven members: the President who is elected for a four-year term and oversees the organization; the Director who is appointed by the Executive Board and manages the Secretariat; and nine Executive Board members elected for a four-year term. The current Executive Board consists of the following individuals.
President
Erik Øverland, PhD, Norway
Erik works on multiple foresight projects in Norway, and across Europe, including PhD in Futures Studies at the Free University of Berlin. Erik is an Editor for the European Journal for Futures Research.
Vice-President - Latin America
Guillermina Baena Paz, PhD, Mexico
Elected to the Executive Board in 2009, appointed in 2013 as Vice - President Latin American Region, and re-elected in 2017 for a second four-year term. Guillermina is a WFSF Regional Vice-President and also the Secretary-General of the Iberam Chapter. She is a Professor at the National Autonomous University in Mexico.
Director
Victor V. Motti, Middle East
Appointed to a vacancy on the Executive Board in March 2012, and elected to the Board in 2013 for a four-year term. He is now Director of the WFSF. Victor is a quadrilingual (reads English, Arabic, Persian, and Italian) international writer, speaker and foresight consultant. His new book published in the UK, is titled: "A Transformation Journey to Creative and Alternative Planetary Futures"
Treasurer and President’s Envoy to UN, New York
Dana Klisanin, PhD, USA
Joined the Executive Board in 2014 and re-elected in 2017, Dana is the President's Envoy to the UN in New York and Co-Chair Youth Council. Her interest is conscious evolution, and how we might better use media and digital technology to promote it. She promotes positive futures media.
President's Envoy to UNESCO, Paris
Thierry Gaudin, PhD, France
Elected to the Executive Board in 2013 to serve a four-year term and re-elected in 2017. He is the President's Envoy to UNESCO in Paris and President of «Prospective 2100», a non-profit organisation studying world programs for 21st century.

Thomas Lombardo, PhD, USA
Thomas Lombardo, Ph.D. is the Executive Director of the Center for Future Consciousness, the Director of The Wisdom Page, the Managing Editor of the online journal Wisdom and the Future, and Professor Emeritus and retired Faculty Chair of Psychology, Philosophy, and the Future at Rio Salado College in Tempe, Arizona.

Andreas Ligtvoet, PhD, Netherlands
Andreas Ligtvoet has been thinking about futures and futures studies for more than 20 years and joined WFSF as a member in 2000. He currently works at Technopolis Group as a senior consultant with expertise in the green economy, sustainable energy, circular economy, industrial ecology, and cooperation – topics closely related to the fate of our earth.

Lucio Mauricio Henao Velez, Colombia
Professional in Industrial Economics, postgraduate in Organizational foresight and supplementary studies in foresight, planning, development and management of innovation, active listening from the Sonidosofía / Intulisten. Planning skills, business valuation, project formulation and evaluation, foresight, scenarios and future studies conformed in more than 3 decades of experience and academy.
Argentina
Javier Alejandro Vitale Gutierrez, Argentina
Elected to the Executive Board in 2017 for four-years term. Javier is a researcher at the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (Argentina) and Co-Director of the Center for Prospective Studies at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (Mendoza, Argentina).
Taiwan
Mei Mei Song, PhD, Taiwan
She has a Doctor of Education from Columbia University USA (2001) and is currently Founder and Director, Center for Futures Intelligence and Research (C-FAR), Tamkang University, Taiwan. From 2007-2010 she was Managing Editor of the Journal of Futures Studies.

Evelyne Koenig, France
Evelyne has been the Accountant for WFSF since 2009. She has overall responsibility for handling and recording the income and expenditure of the Federation. Evelyne is a professional Accountant who has run her own business since 2001 after working in several large companies in Strasbourg, Antibes, Biarritz and Kingersheim. Evelyne lives in the Alsace region of France with her family.
She is also an author of a futuristic novel set in 2019: "Et meme..." (2007). Evelyne loves all things Egyptian.
